Watercolor Flowers

Students are using the pictures they took on their educational field trip of ” Jardín Botánico Lancetilla”, to create watercolor flowers. Below in an instructional video of a watercolor flower painting.

EIGHTH GRADE:

During this week, the students will work on developing the following fundamental skills of BASEBALL: throwing,hitting, fielding and base running. Students will put this knowledge to test in games.

 

REMINDER: I would like to remind you that all students need to be dressed appropriately for the days that they have P.E. class. Students should refrain from using the following:

–  Dresses for the girls

–  Jeans (shorts or pants)

–  Crocks

–  Sandals

–  Boots

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: In order to participate in class activities and receive full credit for the class, students need to wear appropriate clothing for P.E. class.

GOALS:  We will use the word RESPECT to set the main goals for the year.

Right to Learn – Every child has this right to be educated!

Effort – Win or lose, trying is the most important trait.

Safety – The number one priority each and every day!

Purpose – Understanding how the activity can benefit you.

Watercolor Flowers

8th grade students will review watercolor techniques they learned in 7th grade. They will apply them to their Watercolor Flower Project. Students were instructed to take close-up pictures of flowers on their educational trip to Lancetilla in Tela, Honduras. They will now use those pictures as models to create original art works.
