Piano students:

Beginners: They will practice the song “Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony” or “Waltz” by Brahms.

Intermediate DUET (four hand pieces): They will start playing the song  “The Entertainer”  by Scott Joplin

Sores and audio to study

Guitar Students:

Will play their song in duets (each duet chose their songs last week).

Accordion student:

He will play chords with the melody of the Song “La Vie En Rose”

Language Arts September 26-29

8th graders will continue to finish reading their Jacob, Have I Love book in preparation of their student-created book trailer.  They will discuss and choose roles and begin story boarding for their video project.  Near, the end, 8th graders will write a reflection essay involving the work on creating the video, their opinion on the book and their opinion on this alternative way of making book report.

For this week, students will continue with improving their compare/contrast reading and writing skills.  There will be test on the comparing/contrasting on Thursday as well as homework (due also on Thursday) involving answering the essential question.
