Language Arts: Dec 14-16

Jacob, Have I Loved will be continued this week with addition of writing an essay about an essential question of the next few chapters.  “Are you Moody?”  How does the author use setting, mood and tone to describe the mood of the book and the characters.  Homework for this essay will start on Monday and end Tuesday.  There will be not test/quiz for this short week.

NOUNS & ADJECTIVES

  • Nouns and adjectives in a sentence must agree in genre and number.

Once these are mastered, we will move on to:

VERBS & ADVERBS

  • Verbs and adverbs agreement in genre and number in a sentence.

HW: Homework will depend on daily exercises or activities done in class. The student will complete at home unfinished classroom exercises or activities.

Students are always welcome to the library in order to check out Spanish books which will be useful for their practice and learning.

Congratulations for all your hard work on the Song Fest decorations! They looked amazing!

This week students will be creating a Vision Board. They will create a poster board that details -using pictures and graphics from magazines- what qualities they want to change about themselves and what their future goals are.
